The Pause that Powers You
Muracha is your daily invitation to pause, a reset that readies you for whatever comes next.
Our shade-grown matcha and carefully crafted tools celebrate the restorative process of whisking the perfect glass at home.
With Muracha, making matcha becomes a small yet meaningful practice that inspires you to approach each day with clarity, gratitude, and intention.
Our Standard
Muracha sources only first-harvest matcha directly from Japan, working with producers in prized tea-growing regions known for depth, balance, and craft. Each release carries the character of its origin and the care of the producer behind it.
The earliest leaves of the season are prized for their naturally smooth character, rich concentration of amino acids, and steady, focused energy.
A Generational Craft
Yame No. 89 comes from a family-run tea farm in Yame, Japan, where matcha has been cultivated with care across generations.
The woman behind our first release began working in these fields at 19 and still oversees each harvest at 89 years old. Today, her family carries the work forward with the same patience, precision, and care.
Smooth, balanced, and quietly complex, Yame No. 89 reflects the place it comes from and the people behind it.
The Founders
Muracha was founded by sisters Megan Lore and Katie Roth on a simple belief: the smallest moments can change the rhythm of a day.
What began as a shared appreciation for matcha, design, and the art of slowing down has become a brand devoted to first-harvest matcha and the quiet power of a well-made glass.
This is your invitation to slow down and find beauty, pleasure, and intention in each day.
