About Matcha
Is matcha a type of green tea?
Yes. Matcha is a type of Japanese green tea made from shade-grown leaves that are finely stone-milled into powder. Unlike steeped green tea, matcha is whisked directly into water, making it the only form of tea where you consume the whole leaf and all of its benefits.
Is there caffeine in matcha?
Matcha naturally contains caffeine, roughly 60mg per 2g serving compared to 95mg in a standard cup of coffee.
The experience tends to feel different though, because matcha also contains L-theanine, an amino acid that works alongside caffeine to produce steadier, more focused energy without the spike and crash most people associate with coffee.
What benefits does matcha have?
Matcha is consumed as a whole-leaf powder rather than a steeped infusion, meaning you get the full spectrum of the leaf in every serving.
The caffeine and L-theanine work together for calm, focused energy without the crash. EGCG catechins offer some of the most studied antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties in any food. And chlorophyll, responsible for matcha's vivid green color, supports detoxification and overall cellular health.

We offer $8 shipping on all US orders.
How long does delivery take?
Orders typically arrive within 5 to 7 business days of placement. You will receive a tracking link via email once your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. International shipping is coming soon.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us at hello@drinkmuracha.com with a photo and your order number and we will make it right.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on unopened tins within 7 days of delivery. Because matcha is a food product, we are unable to accept returns on any opened tins. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless your order arrived damaged or incorrect.

Subscriptions
How do subscriptions work?
Subscribe to your favorite Muracha product and save 15% on every order. Subscriptions ship automatically on your chosen frequency and can be fully managed through your account portal at any time.
Can I pause, skip, or cancel?
Yes to all three. Subscriptions can be paused, skipped, or cancelled at any time with no fees through your account portal.
Can I swap my product?
You can switch your subscription to any available product at any time, including new releases and sizes as they launch. If a product sells out, you can easily swap to something else so your shipment is never interrupted.
Do subscribers get any other perks?
Subscribers get first access to new products, community events, and restocks before they are available to the public.
How do I manage my subscription?
Everything is managed through your Recharge account portal, accessible via your customer account.
